Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your access to and use of Koy, the AI motion-graphics service at koy.studio (the “Service”), operated by Koy (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

3. Plans, renders, and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Metering is on finished renders only; iterating on and previewing a video is free. Plan limits and prices are shown on our Pricing page. We may change prices with notice; changes apply to subsequent billing periods. You can cancel at any time and your plan remains active through the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled per our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content; to reverse engineer or overload the Service; or to resell raw access to the rendering API without authorization. We may suspend accounts that abuse the Service or threaten its stability or other users.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the briefs and assets you provide and of the videos you generate, subject to the rights of any third-party material you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to operate and improve the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any assets you upload.

6. Availability and disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that rendered output will meet every requirement or be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
